Richard Clews Rallying

Richard Clews and Barry James will be contesting the 2010 Richard Egger Insurance MSA Asphalt Rally Championship in a Group N M-Sport Fiesta ST.

The MSA Asphalt Rally Championship consists of 9 rounds using the most challenging asphalt roads this country has to offer, from Wales to the Isle of Man. The legendary Jim Clark Rally is also a round of the Championship, the only closed road rally on mainland Britain. Telivised on Motors TV by MC-Video, footage is also available on YouTube.

Over the last 10 years of rallying Richard has won the 1600cc British Tarmac championship 3 times, in 2007 he won the Front Wheel Drive championship and in 2009 he won his class in Gp N3. This year he hopes to do the same!

Assisted by Clews Cars, Coventry Automotive, Mechatronics International, ITG air filters, Creative Sign, Proteusprint and Scribble-it web design. Richard and Barry competed in the RDP Welsh Rally on May 2nd 2010 and were the 1st GpN 2WD car finishing 17th overall - an excellent result!
