Richard Clews and Barry James have won overall Front Wheel Drive honours and their class in the 2007 MSA National Asphalt Rally Championship. The immaculate and extremely competitive Peugeot 106 Gti, prepared by Coventry Automotive, supported by Mechatronics International completed the 2007 season in style. During the year Barry James (co-driver) navigated Richard Clews to a First Class win and an incredible 9th overall finish on the Cheviot National Rally. Richard Clews Rallying has won this National Series four times (coming an unfortunate second in 2005), supported by Mechatronics, Coventry Automotive, Creative Sign, Scribble-it, Smart Web Hosts, Clews Cars and Proteus Print. Richard and Barry will contest the 2008 Richard Egger Insurance MSA Asphalt Rally Championship closely watched by their in car camera - extensive footage will be shown here during the year.
